What it is

A flexible polyethylene liner bag that sits inside a round pot or planter and holds the potting mix. It is not a saucer, a rigid insert or a coco basket liner.

Questions and answers

What size liner fits a 16 inch or 18 inch round planter?

Small fits round planters with an internal diameter of 15 to 16 inches. Medium fits 17 to 18 inches. Both suit a soil depth of up to 11 inches. Measure the inside of the planter, not the outside.

Can I use it in a planter deeper than 11 inches?

Yes, as long as the soil level stays at or below 11 inches, which is the height of the liner.

Does it have drainage holes?

No. Holes are not pre-cut, so you can cut them to line up with the drainage holes in your planter.

How is it different from a saucer or a coco liner?

A saucer sits under a pot to catch water. A coco liner lines a wire basket. This liner sits inside a solid pot and separates the potting mix from the pot wall.

How do I fit it?

Place the liner in the pot and shape it against the sides. Cut drainage holes to match the pot's, then fill with potting mix.

Pair it with wool mulch mats on top of the potting mix to help hold moisture.
